The manufacturer of this ring didn’t bother to make clean out holes, or clean the ring before setting the center stone. During this simple ring sizing the job turned into a full blown jewelry repair. The dirt behind the stone burned when I applied heat to do the sizing. I had to carefully cut out the stone, clean behind it, add the gold back that I had cut away, and reset the stone.
